This past July marked my first anniversary with Weaver Consulting Group — a milestone occasion! I’ve learned and grown so much over the past twelve months. When I first joined the team, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the receptionist role was open, and I was ready to jump in. From managing my time effectively to gaining financial literacy (not just for you, our clients, but for myself as well), I’ve picked up invaluable skills like becoming more proficient with technology, learning to work independently while still being part of a team, and deepening my understanding of our industry.
I’m incredibly grateful for my colleagues, who have made this journey so rewarding. I truly couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work alongside — people I respect, who work hard, and most of all, people I genuinely enjoy spending my days with.
Whether it’s answering calls, emails, or assisting in person, I find fulfillment in being a helpful part of Weaver. Like many of you, my first time coming to the office felt like a bit of a maze to navigate. Our tucked-away office has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and I’m excited to contribute to creating a welcoming environment for all of you. There’s not much we need to add to the backdrop, though—after all, as everyone says, you really can’t beat our view of the beach! I’m a little over one year in and I look forward to many more years of serving and getting to know each of you, our wonderful clients!

This past July, I celebrated a significant milestone—my 50th birthday. Reflecting on the memorable celebrations of my 30th and 40th birthdays, I wanted my 50th to be uniquely special, shared with an intimate group of friends and family. After careful consideration, I chose the Water Tower House in Seal Beach as the perfect venue for this occasion. Reaching this milestone has given me the opportunity to pause and reflect on the journey that has brought me here, both personally and professionally.
This journey has been profoundly enriched by the relationships I have built with each of you, our valued clients, and the unwavering support of my family. Turning 50 is not just about the number; it represents the experiences, lessons, and growth that have shaped me along the way. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many of you, guiding you through various stages of your financial journey. Each interaction has been a learning experience, teaching me the true value of trust, integrity, and commitment.
Family has always been at the core of everything I do. My parents were instrumental in laying the foundations for where I am today, providing financial support for my education and instilling important core values. Their guidance and support have been pivotal in shaping my journey, and I am deeply grateful for their influence. I am especially proud to see my own children pursuing their passions and continuing the legacy of making a positive impact in the lives of others.

As we enter the last quarter of the year, it’s a natural time to reflect on the milestones that shape our lives. In a few months, I will be celebrating a very personal milestone—getting married in March. This new chapter brings a mix of joy, excitement, and reflection, much like other significant moments we encounter throughout our lives. Whether it’s a new marriage, welcoming grandchildren, or a long-anticipated retirement, milestones are a chance to pause and appreciate where we are and where we’ve been.
These moments, big or small, remind us of the value of planning and preparation, allowing us to embrace life’s changes with confidence. For many of you, retirement was a major milestone you may have been planning for years. Now that you’ve reached it, new goals and experiences are on the horizon. Just as I’m planning for this new stage in my life, I encourage you to take a moment to celebrate the accomplishments you’ve reached and the new journeys yet to come.
While financial planning may not be the focus of every milestone, having a solid foundation allows you to embrace each chapter with peace of mind. So, whether it’s planning that dream trip, spending more time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the freedom that comes with retirement, here’s to celebrating the milestones that enrich our lives. Happy Holidays and cheers lives. Happy Holidays and cheers to the milestones ahead!
